Rationality or emotion?

If philosophers have devoted entire books to answering the question of reason or emotion, this is due to the difficulty of defining both concepts.  thinking,

Emotions are irrational in addition to that they prevent rationality from taking responsibility for thinking and cannot be controlled, they appear spontaneously, they are sometimes wonderful and a source of unhappiness at other times.

In fact, it is not possible to distinguish between rationality and emotion because it affects many mental abilities: memory, attention, decision-making, learning...

emotional smartness ;  This distinctive and important characteristic of understanding the other, understanding oneself, managing and framing emotions, is an essential characteristic of humans, and those who do not have the characteristic of emotional intelligence due to brain dysfunction, make random decisions and face great difficulties in forming healthy relationships.  Emotion must therefore be understood and controlled in a way that serves the self and serves the other.

rationality;  A necessary characteristic of creating a common space, if truth is compensated by a personal idea of the world, and if there are no universal rational rules, then no one will ever be able to be convinced or persuaded by the absence of the common ground for dialogue and the common perspective of what we call “truth.”

In order to make decisions, the mind relies on "stored emotional information" such as a spontaneous response to fear, this information acts as a provider of a system of warning and protection or stimulation, from here begins all the difficulty of separating what is emotional from what is mental.

The full response of the behavioral and intellectual system depends on the near-perfect fit of what we express emotionally or rationally and this is what is required.

Happiness is the state of contentment that covers other needs. When we leave the direction of emotion, we will inevitably reach this happiness, but it will necessarily be conditional and temporary happiness, permanent happiness;  It requires us to take the most difficult path, which is to find a mediation between emotion as an emotional engine, and reason as its regulator and controller.
